About Me

Hi, I’m Rosie! My husband Chris and I are passionate about travel—whether it’s a rugged hike through the American Southwest or an international adventure with our two kids in tow. Our daughter Mae is 5, our son Trey is 4, and our dogs, Stanley (a loyal Border Collie) and Trudy (our energetic Belgian Malinois/Pointer mix), round out our little family.

By day, I work from home in banking, and Chris runs his own woodworking business. Life is full, messy, and always chaotic. I’d love to say “we wouldn’t have it any other way,” but honestly? A little less chaos wouldn’t hurt!

We believe in working hard, playing harder, and we do our best to keep the kids on the straight and narrow.

From national parks to passport stamps, we’ve traveled with and without kids, booked trips ourselves and through travel agents, and we’re always planning the next big adventure.

This site is where I share what we’ve learned—what worked, what didn’t, and what we wish we’d known. If you’re planning a family hike, a couple’s getaway, or just dreaming of your next destination, I hope our experiences help make your journey a little smoother (and a lot more fun).
