Chris turned 40 at the end of 2025, and I wanted to do something special without throwing a big party that he wouldn’t appreciate. So I gave him what I knew he’d appreciate the most: 40 slices of pizza!
Our ninth stop was: Circle Inn Pizzeria
1060 W 300 N, Clearfield, UT 84015
Located in a strip mall in Clearfield, very close to Ally’s Pizza. There are places to sit down and eat, and the decor is nice enough with a bar-like vibe. I liked the red walls and faux brick. I guess the original location was a bar, and it burned down and they moved to this location.
I was initially reminded of Ogden Pizzeria because the garlic cheese bread wasn’t anything special (and it was very strong on the oregano) and you have to select what spice level you want your pizza sauce to be.
However we were pleasantly surprised by the pizza. It is tavern style with thin crust, and the larger pizza was cut into squares, which I thought was funny considering the name of the restaurant. The cheese was pretty good, and though the crust was typical of tavern style, it wasn’t our favorite.
We got one half cheese/half pepperoni pizza with mild sauce and one ham and pineapple pizza with medium sauce. The sauce was way better than what you’d get at Ogden Pizzeria. I couldn’t really taste the difference in the sauce, and the medium wasn’t too spicy, even for our 6-year-old. Chris liked the medium sauce more- he said it was a different flavor, not necessarily hotter.
Overall we were impressed!
Chris wants to come again and try the hot sauce pizza.

Chris rated his pizza a 7.1
