Chris turned 40 at the end of 2025, and I wanted to do something special without throwing a big party that he wouldn’t appreciate. So I gave him what I knew he’d appreciate the most: 40 slices of pizza!
Our tenth stop was: Napoli’s Italian Restaurant
4015 Riverdale Rd, South Ogden, UT 84405
I will start off by saying this is not really a pizza place, but we did try and rate the pizza, so it counts!
They start you off with some complimentary bread, which is warm and fantastic on its own, but we also got stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and dipped the bread in the brandy cream sauce that came with the stuffed mushrooms, and it just elevated the bread even more. The brandy sauce is a mix of Alfredo and marinara.

I ordered the Chicken Nicola, and while the pasta and pasta sauce it was served with was delicious, the chicken itself was too crunchy for me.

Chris got the Tour of Italy, which came with lasagna, chicken parm, and fettuccine Alfredo. He really enjoyed the marinara over the lasagna and chicken parm, it’s his first restaurant experience where he preferred the marinara to the Alfredo.

My 6-year-old daughter got buttered noodles, and here’s where the pizza rating comes in. Our 4-year-old son got the kids cheese pizza. This pizza does not come on the adult menu. When it came out, it looked so good that we took one slice, split it in half, and we each had a taste. It was so good we wanted more! The sauce is delicious, and the dough was fluffy and had a good crunch.

Chris says it was on par with pizza you can get in New York! Chris rated it an 8.1.
Our son ended up dropping a slice in the floor and I made him pick it up and set it aside on the table so we didn’t make an employee have to clean up his mess. Chris ended up picking it up later- I tried to warn him, but it was too late! Chris rated the floor pizza at a 7.7, but only because it had cooled down. It was best fresh for sure.
This place is great for celebrations- we were there celebrating a work promotion, which is why we were so lavish and even shared an italian cream cake. It was really good cake but needed more sauce for sure.
The food is pretty amazing, and the place was packed. They gotta figure out how to make a bigger waiting area, we were standing around packed like sardines while waiting for a table.
Also, they really need to add pictures to the menu! The selection process was really difficult not knowing what the dishes looked like. And the internet in there is really poor, so we weren’t able to view pictures from google reviews either.
Chris rated the pizza an 8.1.
